1. How do the machines detect players?
They use sensors and detect the player's sound from movement to detect them. Rain will make it difficult for them to hear you. Using in-game items such as lures will help you maneuver against machines.
2. What happens if you die in Generation Zero?
If you die, you can choose between spawning at a safe house or reviving yourself using an adrenaline shot. If you’re playing in co-op, a teammate can revive you. You don’t lose any stuff if you die.
3. Are we the only remaining survivors?
We do not want to spoil the story so you’ll have to find that out for yourself!
4. Is there a leveling system in Generation Zero?
There is a levelling system in Generation Zero, with the highest level being 31. From leveling, you will earn skill points which you can use to unlock perks to shape the class of your character. Choose wisely, as you will not be able to change your perks later on your character and you can't unlock all skill perks.
5. What can I do after completing the missions?
After completing the story, you can continue exploring the open world of Generation Zero. There are many side quests you can complete, strive to reach the maximum level, collect all of the weapons, clothing, schematics, unlock the safehouses, and more. You also have the option to play on another character, to choose a different set of skill perks with and design a different class of character.
6. What about weather in Generation Zero?
The weather system is fully dynamic and will affect fighting. The time of day will also change from day to night.
7. Can I play as the machines?
Currently Generation Zero does not support playing as the machines.

9. Can I swim in Generation Zero?
No, you’re not able to swim. Instead, as soon as you submerge, you get teleported back to the shore.
10. Is there bullet drop in Generation Zero?
There is indeed bullet drop and a shot-to-hit delay. They are only noticeable at great distances and with heavy calibre weapons though.
