How does multiplayer work in Generation Zero?
Generation Zero is designed to be played in any combination of one to four players. You can join up with friends, jump in to public games that others have setup, or play solo. It’s up to you! You can also drop in/out at any time with the same character, all equipment/skill-ups is carried over between group/solo play.

Does Generation Zero support offline multiplayer?
Unfortunately, Generation Zero doesn't support any form of offline multiplayer, including split screen or couch co-op.

How is my progress saved in multiplayer?
When playing in multiplayer as the host, all of your progress in missions is automatically saved. For clients playing in multiplayer, their mission progress will only be saved if their mission progress is identical to that of the host's. All of the EXP, looted items, and consumed items during your multiplayer session will be carried over to your single player sessions.

Will difficulty scale in multiplayer?
When playing in multiplayer, Generation Zero provides players the ability to enable or disable difficulty scaling based on the amount of players in the game.

Does Generation Zero support cross-play?
Generation Zero is cross-play enabled between XBOX and XBOX Game Pass PC only, other platforms do not support cross-play.

How can I find other people to play with in Generation Zero?
If you're looking to find new people to play Generation Zero with, you can join random multiplayer games by selecting Multiplayer on the home screen.
